The Superhero Litter is growing up fast!
Diana, Carter, Gwen, Raven, Bucky, Wade, and Logan have officially moved in with their volunteer trainers—the incredible fosters who will guide them through the next stage of their journey to becoming service dogs.
These trainers are real-life superheroes themselves. They open their homes (and hearts) full-time, teaching the pups essential skills like sit, down, shake, potty training, and kennel manners. But their work goes far beyond the basics. They take the pups out into the world—onto college campuses, through busy stores, along lakeside trails—to experience new sights, sounds, and smells. Each outing helps the pups practice calm, confident behavior and builds the focus they’ll need to support their future handler.
Some standout moments so far:
Diana is settling into college life at Morehead State University, exploring her dorm and learning to stay attentive even when surrounded by new friends and excitement. Bucky discovered the joy of splashing in a lake for the first time, proving that training can be equal parts work and adventure.
Every wag, high-five, and new experience is a building block in their heroic mission. These seven pups are on their way to offering independence, safety, and companionship to the children and veterans they’ll one day serve.
You can be part of their story, too. Your donation to 4 Paws for Ability directly supports the training, care, and placement of service dogs like the Superhero Litter. Together, we can help these pups grow into the heroes they’re meant to be.
